JASMINE POINDEXTER | OWNER / WEB DEVELOPER + DESIGNER
My love for creating things and playing with technology started very young. I can remember as a kid being able to look at a picture and attempting to draw it. I also remember in middle school being formally introduced to the interworkings of a computer. I instantly fell in love and learning how to operate it came so easy to me. These early childhood interests would then carry on into my college years. In college I would further my technical skillset and graduate from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Computer Information Systems. This degree taught me everything from Programming to Project Management. After graduation I would go on and work, trying different types of jobs and industries, doing everything from tech support to data analytics. While working these jobs I would also pursue a graduate degree from Trevecca Nazarene University in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Technology.
After a few years of working, I still wasn’t feeling fulfilled in my tech career. I desired to be technical but also creative. So, I decided to look up other technical fields. After doing tons of research, I came across web development. I decided that I would enroll in a full-stack coding bootcamp that specialized in web and mobile app development. After finishing the bootcamp I felt so inspired to create.
I started building websites for fun just to keep my skill set up and to learn new things. I started dabbling into graphic design, creating logos, flyers and business cards that go along with the websites I was building. My friends and family caught wind of what I was doing and before I knew it I was freelancing my services. Today, I have serviced many clients. Helping them to get online and position themselves to keep up with the ever-changing digital world. I have turned my passion for tech and design into a growing business and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for my career.
